Today was a very very great day! I went to many places and played all day.
First, I went to the Tianhe Park with my family. We had a piic on the grass. We also played badminton together and took some beautiful photos. Next we went to a library in Guangzhou. I found a lot of books that I wanted to read. Finally we went to a western restaurant. There was pizza, cakes, hot dogs, salad, juice and so on.
I felt very happy, but there was a very bad thing for me! When we got home, my mother gave me a lot of homework and said, “You must finish it in one month. And before the important test, you can’t play any more! It’s good for your good future!” How poor I was.
I think it was quite a good experience to talk with a foreigner, through which it could improve not only my oral english, but also the skills of making friends. Moreover, I also could gain some knowledge about western culture.

during a long vacation, i usually like to go to see the exhibits in one of a great many museums. such as the art museum, the history museum, the museum of natural history, and the museum of science and technology. many wonderful things are cared for in museums. there are paintings, potteries, sculptures, costumes, swords, ancient animal bones and plants, stuffed animals, antique steam locomotives, and many others.
it is always a ggood review of history to visit those museums.
today is mother"s birthday, but i didn"t know what to buy for her. a watch was a good present, but it was too expensive for me to buy. flowers were not so expensive, but they would die soon. a birthday cake was too sweet and mother didn"t like it.
then father thought a good idea. he said, "why don"t we make a wonderful dinner for her? that will show our love for her。" oh, that was good. love is the most expensive pressent in the world.
i will never forget the smile on mother"s face when we had supper together.

god has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. be grateful to others is a way to show your love. in our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and strangers. perhaps it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or offer you a seat in the bus. we should be thankful to them for whatever they have done. the more love you give, the more love you receive.
a sense of gratitude can acknowledging our interdependent existence. you will be ready to help others if you have a thankful heart. therefore, a thankful heart is like a magnet. not only will we attract more things to be grateful for, but also we will attract gratitude from others. “give thanks a little and you will find a lot.”
gratitude is heaven itself. a sense of gratitude and indebtedness to others is and important wellspring of a generous and virtuous life. we now fall into a busy life, neglecting to be grateful for details, the beauty of nature, the comforts of modern living ,the love of parents and so on. people can notice these details and realize the friendship, love and happiness in our life with a grateful heart.
